How do I know if school is closed?
Our administrative team monitors conditions during any winter storm. Very early in the morning, we evaluate the conditions around our building and in your area school district. There are times when NHA will be open and your district will be closed.
Should weather conditions not permit NHA to open, you will be notified through our automated telephone system, “One Call Now” and an announcement via TeacherEase. Additionally, you can find school closing information on our web page and recorded on the main phone message.
If NHA is closed, all after-school activities will also be canceled.
Why do we have third semester or ESY (Extended School Year)?
- Third semester is available to all students enrolled in our program
- Provides consistency and structure for students while maintaining their academic and social emotional progress
- Allows students to earn up to two credits toward graduation
- Helps students that are credit deficient to meet graduation requirements
- Continuation of all related services (individual, group, and family therapy)
How long will I be enrolled at NewHope?
